Slimbox on List Central

List Central members will be able to create lists of images that they upload to the site. These lists were very well and good, but I felt they were missing some pizzaz! So I set to it to figure out a way to spice up the lists with images and I ended up finding Slimbox did just the trick.

I’m sure you have encounters many a slim/light boxes about the internet. They dim the browser window, and expand content, usually an image, in the middle of the browser. They make really nice slide-shows for sets of images. Here’s an example of one. Click on the flower to see the effect of the Slimbox.

To get Slimbox working on List Central, I used the MooTools version of Slimbox by Christophe Beyls, since I was already using MooTools on List Central. The documentation provided with the MooTools Slimbox made it reasonably easy to install, and now my users will be able to enjoy Slimbox from their lists!

Thank you Christophe Beyls for your MooTools version of Slimbox!
