In a move that has proved to be much more ambitious that I originally intended it to be, I decided to include themes with in List Central. Each member will be able to choose from a set of themes that change the colours used on their list pages. When List Central is finally released it will have a base set of themes that I have been putting together, and I will be welcoming user’s suggestions for new themes to be added through out the lifespan of List Central.

In creating the first set of themes to be available on List Central I have found the creative online community COLOURlovers to be absolutely invaluable! The community has a very active group of design focused member that submit colour patterns and pallets, and discuss colour theory together. One of my favourite aspects of the site is the blog posts where users pull colour combinations from nature, graffiti and art.

I will be encouraging List Central users who want to suggest new themes to head over to COLOURlovers to make a pallet that corresponds to their suggested theme, which I hope might lead to COLOURlovers and List Central becoming web buddies!
